Maintenance/Facilities Manager

General Description

Responsible for the Management and Supervision of the maintenance and janitorial staff.  Scheduling of staff as well as preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment, buildings, and property. Main contact for maintenance department and responsible for coordination of all new and existing equipment installs and inventory of expendables. Focus upon Maintenance Department budget, equipment downtime, successful project management, and mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment installation and/or maintenance.

Tasks

  • Prepare maintenance and janitorial staff schedule.
  • Manage preventative maintenance for all BTM building, equipment, and property.
  • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for new equipment delivery and installs.
  • Manage all maintenance and janitorial inventory.
  • Monitor and focus on improvement of machine down time.
  • Manage Maintenance Budget with a focus on cost reduction throughout facility.
  • Gather estimates for maintenance/repairs.
  • Assist with direct maintenance responsibilities when needed.
  • Lead preventative maintenance program throughout facility.
  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
  • Record and maintain repair and machine maintenance information in BTM database.
  • Assist in compliance to ISO standards and BTM procedures.
  • Coordinate and document required training of BTM employees.

Requirements

  • Project Management and superior organizational skills.
  • Experience with Team Development in a leadership role.
  • 2 year technical degree in Building Utilities and Maintenance or equivalent.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Salary - 75k +
